WVTW Peleliu is 'ON THE AIR'

Donald B Dunwoody of San Francsico, CA at the piano as the 'GIverines' go live on air in the studios of Armed Forces Radio Station WVTW on Peleliu in the Palau District, Caroline Islands in 1945.

The group backed USO tours, including that of Texan Ann Sheridan.

WVTW broadcast from December 1944 to at least March 1947 and mainly used a frequency of 1510 on the AM dial.
